Surabaya (15 December 2023) – Approaching the end of 2023, PT Terminal Petikemas Surabaya (TPS), which is a subsidiary of the Sub holding Pelindo Terminal Petikemas (SPTP), has succeeded in winning 2 awards at the 11th BUMN Branding & Marketing Award 2023 ( BBMA 2023).

BBMA is an appreciation award for achievements in the field of Branding & Marketing, organized by BUMN Track.

Based on the assessment process, TPS received honor and received appreciation in 2 (two) categories: The Best CMO* Excellent in Branding as Green and Sustainable Port, awarded to the Main Director of TPS, Wahyu Widodo and Silver Winner - International Recognition for the Global Branding and Marketing category , awarded to TPS.

The award was handed over directly by the CEO of BUMN Track, SH Sutarto on Wednesday (13/12) at the Borobudur Hotel, Jakarta.
Apart from assessing companies, the 11th annual BUMN Branding & Marketing Award also appreciates the performance of company leaders. TPS Main Director, Wahyu Widodo won The Best CMO* Excellent in Branding as Green and Sustainable Port. Based on the assessment, he is considered to have added value in leading the management of the container terminal business as an important part of the port industry that is oriented towards sustainable ports.

In the process, 76 participating companies consisting of BUMN, BUMN subsidiaries, BUMN Tbk Companies and BUMN Tbk Subsidiaries took part in the judging process for the 11th BUMN Branding & Marketing Award 2023. Judging will be held on 20-24 November 2023 and will be carried out in front of a jury consisting of experts in the fields of branding, marketing and communications.

BBMA 2023 determines the assessment aspects which are divided into five parts, namely BUMN Branding Award, BUMN Marketing Award, Global Branding and Marketing Award, Elevating Human Lives - Brand Evolution in the Industry 5.0 Era as well as appreciation for The Best *Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) with criteria include Creative Marketing, Leadership & Teamwork, Personal Communication, and Corporate Marketing Performance.

Wahyu Widodo, President Director, said that the appreciation achieved by TPS is one of the sweet fruits that can be reaped from the positive and sustainable initiatives carried out by TPS on an ongoing basis. In addition to achieving appreciation/awards awarded based on the assessment of experts as a jury, the result of implementing various positive sustainable initiatives is winning the trust of various parties, including customers, workers and all stakeholders, which ultimately becomes an important asset for sustainable business management ( sustainable business).

These achievements further motivate TPS to always do their best and carry out business activities in accordance with the Trustworthy, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, Collaborative (AKHLAK) values.

Wahyu also expressed his gratitude to all parties: Customers, Workers and Stakeholders for their trust and support in TPS so that TPS can go through the dynamics of its journey to date.
